Our 6-Day Gorilla Tour Uganda Rwanda will start and end in Kigali- Rwanda’s capital. It takes you to Rwanda and Uganda for Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park respectively.

Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival at Kigali International Airport
Safari Vacations and travel services Driver/Guide will receive you– he will later transfer you to Kigali which is Rwanda’s capital, it’s where you will have lunch from. After that drive to Ruhengeri to the Volcanoes National Park; it is among the widespread Virunga Mountains along with the Bwindi Forest in Uganda and the Virunga in Congo which have a variety of peaks like the Bisoke, Karisimbi, Muhabura, and Sabyinyo. It is also home to the rare Mountain Gorillas. Dine and have an overnight stay at Gorilla’s Nest Hotel/Kinigi Guesthouse.
Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Tracking-Volcanoes
On this beautiful day after your breakfast drive to the headquarters of the park, while there you will have a briefing from the ranger guides concerning gorilla tracking. Later start trekking the gentle giants through the Volcanoes Forest. Meeting the gorillas will be the most thrilling experience as you will be amazed at the Silverbacks. It will be a great time watching the gorillas play, and communicate with each other and the mothers feed the young ones. Today will be your day to view and learn a lot about the gentle giants. you will spend Strictly one hour with the gorillas, so make sure to utilize your time with them. Return to the lodge, dine, and spend overnight at Gorilla’s Nest Hotel/Kinigi Guesthouse.
Day 3: Golden monkey tracking/Dian Fossey’s grave
You might visit the attractive golden monkeys and take a walk to Dian Fossey’s grave or just choose other activities like visiting local community projects and schools or hike Muhavura or Bisoke volcanoes. Have dinner and overnight at Gorilla’s Nest Hotel/Kinigi Guesthouse.
Day 4: Travel to Uganda-Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Enjoy breakfast and transfer to Kigali where if time allows you could have a short city tour, after which you will proceed with your journey to Uganda. Arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable and spend an Overnight together with having dinner at Buhoma Community Bandas/Gorilla Resort Hotel
Day 5: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi
Be a wake so early and have breakfast after drive to the headquarters, be brief, and go through the mist Bwindi Forest as you trek gorillas, it is an amazing time with great views of the Silverback and other wildlife species in the forest. Upon meeting the gorillas, you will have only an hour with them. Later head back to the lodge and in the evening have a walk through the community of the indigenous Batwa people where you will learn a lot about their culture. Have dinner and an overnight at Buhoma Community Bandas/Gorilla Resort Hotel
Day 6: Return to Kigali-Rwanda
Have an early breakfast and after that bid goodbye to the great Bwindi Forest and drive back to Kigali where you will have lunch your guide will transfer you to the Airport for your flight back home to end the tour
