The 2 Days Ngorongoro, Materumi, and Kikuletwa Hot Spring Safari offers an exceptional opportunity to experience Ngorongoro Crater and Materuni Falls as well as a Coffee journey and Kikuletwa Hot Spring.

In these two days, you will hike to waterfalls and engage in a coffee tour the day before or after the safari. After lunch, sample our delectable local food buffet before heading to the hot springs.

Note; Ngorongoro Crater is habitat to the Big Five, as well as additional species such as cheetah, gazelle, hyena, impala, and around 500 bird species making it a birding paradise.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater

On day 1 of the 2 Days Ngorongoro, Materumi, and Kikuletwa Hot Spring Safari, after an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up by our professional driver guide and transferred to Ngorongoro as he briefs you about the safari. Arrive at the crater where you will enjoy a breathtaking view of this magnificent natural wonder and also discover extraordinarily diverse as well steep crater walls. Within the park, lions and hyenas hunt wildebeest and Grant’s gazelle. The crater is also home to hundreds of wildebeests, zebras, lions, and other big cats like leopards and cheetahs among others. Enjoy a lunch break in the afternoon with a picnic lunch box. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Visit Materuni and Kikuletwa in Moshi

On day 2 of the 2 Days Ngorongoro, Materumi, and Kikuletwa Hot Spring Safari, after morning breakfast, your guide will Materuni which is surrounded by lush tropical jungles. During your visit, you will be able to visit Materuni waterfalls, which lie on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. Besides hiking, the pool at the bottom of the waterfall is a rewarding site for a refreshing swim if the weather permits, remember to carry your swimsuits.

After the hike, you will drive on a coffee tour and a local food buffet lunch. You will enjoy your few hours in Kikuletwa Hot Spring where you can engage in swimming and some other picnic activities. That makes the end of the safari. Return to your hotel or airport.
