Choose Your Uganda Gorilla Safari from Singapore

The easiest way to book Uganda gorilla trekking from Singapore is to start with the amount of time you want to spend in Uganda. A short trip can focus almost entirely on Bwindi, while a longer itinerary can combine gorillas with chimpanzees, wildlife, boat safaris and other destinations without repeating unnecessary road transfers.
For most travellers, we recommend choosing the safari length first and allowing us to match it with available gorilla permits. The permit is the fixed part of the trip. Accommodation, private transport, domestic flights and safari extensions can then be arranged around that date.
| Safari choice | Recommended duration | Best for | Booking style |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gorilla Express | 3–4 days | Travellers mainly coming for the gorillas | Road or fly-in |
| Gorillas + Wildlife | 5–7 days | Gorillas, game drives and Kazinga Channel | Private 4×4 |
| Gorillas + Chimpanzees | 7–9 days | Two major primate experiences | Private 4×4 |
| Complete Uganda Safari | 10–14 days | Primates, wildlife and varied landscapes | Road with optional flights |
Most Booked Uganda Gorilla Safari Options
Bwindi Gorilla Trekking
The strongest choice when the gorilla encounter is your main objective. The trip includes arrival or pickup arrangements, private transfer to the gorilla region, accommodation near the correct trekking sector, the gorilla trek and return transfer.
Gorilla & Queen Elizabeth Safari
Combines Bwindi with classic wildlife, game drives and the Kazinga Channel. This option gives Singapore travellers a much broader Uganda experience without requiring a long holiday.
Gorilla & Chimpanzee Safari
Combines Bwindi with Kibale National Park and usually Queen Elizabeth National Park between them. It is one of the best-balanced itineraries because it includes mountain gorillas, chimpanzees and traditional savannah wildlife.
Complete Uganda Safari
Designed for travellers who want the international journey from Singapore to lead into a complete Uganda holiday. Murchison Falls, Kibale, Queen Elizabeth, Bwindi and optional lake or cultural experiences can be linked into one private route.
What Your Gorilla Trekking Booking Can Include

Your quotation can include the gorilla trekking permit, accommodation, private 4×4 safari vehicle, professional English-speaking driver-guide, airport transfers, fuel, park transfers and meals according to the lodge plan. Bottled drinking water during safari transfers can also be included.
We can also include domestic flights between Entebbe and Kihihi or Kisoro, chimpanzee permits, game drives, boat cruises, golden monkey tracking, cultural visits and extra nights before or after the safari. International airfare from Singapore is normally booked separately unless otherwise agreed.
| Usually included | Usually excluded unless requested |
|---|---|

| Driver-guide and fuel | Personal shopping and souvenirs |
| Safari accommodation | Optional tips and gratuities |
| Specified meals and activities | Activities not listed in the quotation |
Gorilla Permit Booking Comes First

The gorilla permit is the first item we check because availability is limited and the permit controls the date of your trek. For foreign non-residents, the standard Uganda gorilla trekking permit is currently US$800 per person for the regular trekking experience, subject to the tariff applying to the exact travel date.
After a permit is secured, we match the correct accommodation and transfers to the trekking area. This is especially important in Bwindi because the park has several trekking sectors. Booking the wrong lodge first can create long, unnecessary early-morning transfers on trekking day.
We Match Your Lodge to the Correct Bwindi Sector
Bwindi gorilla trekking is organised through Buhoma, Ruhija, Rushaga and Nkuringo. Each area has its own access routes and accommodation options. We therefore do not recommend choosing a lodge only because it looks attractive online; the lodge must first make logistical sense for the permit that is available.
Buhoma is especially convenient for itineraries connecting with the Ishasha side of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Rushaga and Nkuringo work very well for southern Bwindi, Kisoro and some Kigali-access itineraries. Ruhija is useful for eastern Bwindi routes and travellers who prefer a quieter mountain-forest atmosphere.
If you have a sector preference, tell us before booking. If you are flexible, we can recommend the strongest available combination of permit, lodge, road access and onward safari routing for your dates.
Choose a Road Safari or Fly-In Gorilla Safari
A private road safari gives you the best overall value and allows the journey to become part of the Uganda experience. It is especially suitable when combining Bwindi with Queen Elizabeth, Kibale or other destinations. Your driver-guide remains with you and the route can include scenic and cultural stops.
A fly-in safari is better for travellers from Singapore who have limited time or prefer to reduce long drives. Scheduled domestic flights can connect Entebbe with Kihihi for northern Bwindi or Kisoro for southern Bwindi and Mgahinga, followed by a private road transfer to the lodge.
We can quote both options side by side so you can compare total travel time, comfort and cost before deciding.
Add Wildlife, Chimpanzees or Other Experiences
If you have five days or more, adding Queen Elizabeth National Park gives the trip a strong safari contrast after the rainforest. Game drives, the Kazinga Channel boat cruise and the Ishasha area can be combined with Bwindi in a logical road itinerary.
If primates are your priority, add Kibale National Park for chimpanzee trekking or the longer chimpanzee habituation experience when available. Gorilla trekking and chimpanzee trekking together create one of Uganda’s most distinctive wildlife journeys.
Longer holidays can also include Murchison Falls National Park, Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Lake Bunyonyi, Lake Mutanda, golden monkeys in Mgahinga or a Rwanda extension. We build these around the gorilla date rather than forcing them into a fixed package.
Choose Your Accommodation Level
Comfortable mid-range: ideal for travellers who want good private rooms, reliable meals, convenient trekking access and strong overall value without paying for premium lodge extras.
Luxury: best for couples, honeymooners and travellers who place more emphasis on room quality, views, service and lodge atmosphere. Luxury properties can be especially worthwhile around Bwindi because you normally spend at least two nights in the gorilla region.
Premium or high-end: suitable for travellers prioritising privacy, exceptional locations and a more exclusive safari style. Domestic flights can be paired with premium lodges to create a shorter and more comfortable itinerary from Entebbe.
How the Booking and Payment Process Works
First, we prepare the itinerary and quotation using your dates, group size and accommodation preference. Once you approve the proposal, we confirm the availability of the key services and request the agreed deposit so the permit and accommodation can be secured.
The booking confirmation should clearly show what has been reserved, what remains payable and the applicable cancellation conditions. Because gorilla permits and lodges can have different rules, cancellation terms should always be reviewed before payment rather than assumed to be identical across the entire safari.
The remaining balance is then paid according to the schedule stated in your quotation or invoice. Before travel, we provide the final itinerary and practical safari information so your arrival and ground arrangements are clear.
What We Need From You to Prepare the Quotation
Send us your preferred travel month or exact dates, total number of travellers, number of safari days and the accommodation level you prefer. If you already have international flights, include your Entebbe arrival and departure details so the safari can be timed correctly.
Also tell us whether gorilla trekking is the only priority or whether you want chimpanzees, wildlife, a boat safari, golden monkeys, a Rwanda extension or other experiences. This allows us to prepare one coherent itinerary rather than adding activities later in a way that creates unnecessary backtracking.
