Day 1: Arrival in Bujumbura

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our company representative who will transfer you to the hotel that has been booked for your dinner and stay overnight take your time to relax as you plan for the day’s activities in search of learning the Bujumbura culture.

Day 2: Transfer to Rusizi National Park – Gishora Drum Sanctuary

Have breakfast in the early morning and thereafter take a short drive to Rusizi National Park. You will have an opportunity to view hippos, sitatungas (antelope), and a wide variety of birds attracted to the wetland environment. You will also visit the snake’s park, and later transfer to the Gishora drum sanctuary, for more wildlife dinner;

Day 3: Waterfall Visit – Transfer to visit the Museum

Following a mouth-watering breakfast, you will drive towards the south to pay a visit to be angelic waterfalls of Karera, lunch route, and transfer to Gitega to explore the Burundi International Museum which has historical artifacts, and a big history of Bujumbura you will learn so much about the cultural aspect of the Burundi people

Day 4: Departure

After visiting this beautiful and unique country you will be transferred back to the airport in time for your international flight out.
